We handle the entire process from data gathering to dispersion modelling, generating all the information required by provincial regulators to obtain permits and meet your schedule. Time spent by our clients to provide input and direction is usually very limited. We will keep you informed and consult with you if any decisions are required. Simply send us an email containing the following information:
- Contact information including your name, company name, address, phone and fax numbers and email address
- Location of the planned operation
- A brief description of the planned operation and formation(s) that will be flared
- The 60 to 90 day time period in which flaring is planned
- Maximum expected H2S concentration (%)
- Total raw gas volume to be flared (10³ m³)
- Maximum expected raw gas flow rates (10³ m³/d)
- A copy of a representative gas analysis
- A copy of the well licence
- A copy of the survey plan, or location and well elevation
- AFE#, SO#, or other billing reference number(s)
The AER requires the following information as part of flaring approval applications:
- ERP Reference Number
- EPZ distance
- H2S Release Rate
- If the operation is to be conducted with the wellhead on or off
Requirements for other jurisdictions such as the BC OGC and Saskatchewan MoE are similar. If you are not certain about your requirements you can find more info on the Dispersion Modelling page or contact us to discuss details.
