Marc Polivka, P. Eng.
President
Since founding the company over 10 years ago, he has been the lead technical specialist for risk and environmental engineering, executing and managing projects in Western Canada, the Arctic, Middle East and Europe.
As well as regulatory dispersion modeling and hazard assessments, Marc’s focus is on development of numerical analytical techniques together with physical chemistry and data mining to provide a better understanding and prediction of industrial spills and releases from a variety of sources.
Marc volunteers with a number of boards including the local chapter of the Air and Waste Management Association.
Bill Wolff, P. Eng.
Sr. Project Engineer
Bill is a co-founder of Integrated Modelling with over 30 years experience in the oil and gas industry. He guides and conducts H2S release rate assessments and reports for planned single wells, multi-pad projects, and area assessments encompassing multiple townships and ranges in area in Western Canada. Bill has lectured at industry courses on well control, drilling waste management and oil spill response and cleanup.
Sandy Hui, P. Eng.
Sr. Project Engineer
Sandy graduated from the University of Calgary in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering.
Since 2007, Sandy’s focus is to manage and execute H2S release rate assessments, H2S pre-submissions, critical well declassification applications to regulators and assessments on greenhouse gas emissions to protect the public during drilling, completion, and producing operations. As well as regulatory H2S release rate assessments, Sandy manages the development of numerical analytical techniques to improve our data organizing and analysing process.
Sandy also has experience with several dispersion modelling software packages, including AERMOD, ISC-PRIME, CALPUFF and SCREEN3, to perform SO2 gas plume dispersion modelling for the sour gas flare and incinerator. Sandy is also responsible for preparing flaring/incinerating applications and assessments to eliminate the potential impacts associated with flaring/incinerating activities and to meet the provincial environmental compliance.
Jason Binding, P. Eng.
Sr. Project Engineer
Since joining Integrated Modelling in 2008, Jason has been a driving force for project execution and delivery, ensuring client operations continue as planned, while protecting the public and environment. He graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Minor in Applied Mathematics.
Jason has completed courses in Hazard Assessment and Risk Identification, H2S Alive, WHMIS training, and a variety of dispersion modelling software. He is a member of APEGA, and regularly attends courses, luncheons, and meetings with a variety of professional organisations such as the Air and Waste Management Association, Society of Petroleum Engineers, and Petroleum Technology Alliance Canada.
